Dr. Lyons believes that thoughtfully selected medication coupled with psychotherapy is the fastest and most effective way to provide relief and a return to function. Prevention of relapse and maintenance of wellness are also a focus. She partners with the patient, their support people, and the therapist in a team approach to recovery.

Dr. Lisa Coram has been practicing medicine as a Board Certified Psychiatrist since 2010.  She attended Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her psychiatric training in New York City. As an Osteopathic Physician, she believes the best outcomes start with a wholistic approach.  While Dr. Coram focuses on medication management, she recognizes the importance of integrating therapy and a healthy lifestyle into your treatment plan. She will thoroughly review your medical history, provide a diagnostic evaluation, and will offer genetic testing for medication compatibility, when necessary.  She offers Neurostar TMS (transcranial magnetic therapy) for those who have not found relief with medication alone, and works closely with the Spravato treatment center for individuals struggling with treatment resistant depression.

Diane Gutchak is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), as well as faculty for the University of Michigan – Flint.  Twenty Four years as a FNP helped to nurture a passion for psychiatry. Diane provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, and medication management for patients experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar and other mood disorders. (Waverly, Iowa) Her graduate training is from Wayne State School of Social Work.  Ms. Blair has over 40 years of experience in behavioral medicine. She takes pride in her 30 years of service within public health settings. She has also four years of training in Bioenergetic analysis.

Victoria Harrington is a Licensed Masters Social Worker and received her Masters Degree of Social Work from the University of Michigan. During her career as a clinical social worker, for over 40 years, she has worked in a variety of mental health clinics and family service agencies. Shannon has been working in the social work field for over 10 years.  She received her Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University in 2015 and has been working as a therapist for the last five years.  Shannon has worked with survivors of domestic violence, child abuse, and trauma as well as those with various mental and physical illnesses seeking help in primary care.  She has experience working with all ages, but her passion is working with adults who are struggling with PTSD and anxiety.

Laura received her Master of Social Work from Michigan State University and has post graduate training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Radically-Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT). Marina Pesserl, PhD, LPC.  Marina is a board certified licensed professional counselor in private practice in West Bloomfield, Michigan. She offers help to young adults and older. Marina’s areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, parenting, perinatal adjustments and mood disorders, couples therapy, domestic violence, and post-traumatic stress. In addition, Marina is an approved clinical supervisor supporting novice counselors obtain their full professional license.

For over twelve years, Marina specialized in helping women with perinatal mood disorders and their families during her work with the Beaumont Health System’s Parenting Program. An undergraduate degree in educational psychology was obtained in Argentina. After living in Germany for thirteen years, Marina moved to the US where she obtained a master’s degree in community counseling from Siena Heights University in Michigan, and a doctorate in health psychology from Walden University. Her research focused on implementing mindfulness-based stress reduction to the treatment of postpartum depression and anxiety. 

Marina has provided Mental Health First Aid instruction to the community around the Detroit metropolitan area including the Hispanic, public safety, military and higher education populations while working with local mental health agencies. Within the Mental Health First Aid area, Marina served as a National Trainer and a Quality Evaluator for the National Council of Behavioral Health.

Marina’s theoretical orientation is integrative of client-centered, brief solution focused, cognitive-behavioral, and psychodynamic perspectives. She has a holistic approach to counseling that, when appropriate and conducive to your general wellbeing, may include the option of mindfulness and hypnotherapy.
