Cyril Davis, DNP, PMHNP
Program Director & Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Cyril Davis is the Program Director at Lakes Center Mental Health Network. Following 15 years in local and federal law enforcement, a traumatic brain injury led him to pursue nursing and psychiatric care. This experience shaped his dedication to evidence-based treatment, resilience, and supporting those who struggle in silence.
Dr. Davis began his nursing career in the emergency room before joining Lakes Center, where Dr. Lynne Lyons mentored him in interventional psychiatry. He earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Wayne State University, specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health.
He delivers holistic, evidence-based psychiatric care rooted in empathy, attentive listening, and trust. Dr. Davis collaborates with each client, their therapist, and support system to develop personalized treatment plans, including psychopharmacology, and to promote resilience and emotional well-being.
He is an active community advocate, regularly leading workshops and partnering with local organizations to raise awareness, reduce mental health stigma, and expand access to resources.
