Cathy is a licensed clinical therapist and social worker. She received her Master's Degree from Wayne State University in 1995 and has 30 years of experience working with adults, teens, and families. Cathy is a compassionate and experienced clinical therapist dedicated to supporting those who are navigating life’s challenges. With a deep understanding of mental health and emotional well-being, Cathy's focus is on helping people build happiness and joy in their lives while also helping them manage feelings of anxiety and depression. This will help develop healthier coping strategies and achieve lasting positive change.
Cathy takes a person-centered, evidence-based approach to therapy. She incorporates modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) into her practice style. She tailors each session to the unique needs of the individual, fostering a safe and nonjudgmental space for self-exploration and growth.
