Heidi Stamper, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Heidi is a fully licensed professional counselor. She received her Master’s Degree from Wayne State University. Prior to entering the mental health field Heidi received her Bachelor Degree from Michigan State University in Agriculture and Horticulture. During her master’s program and internship she developed skills and strategies essential to treat perinatal mood disorders through working in the Beaumont Parenting Program and non-profits such as Postpartum Support International. Heidi worked with this population through both advocacy initiatives and through clinical application. Heidi's passion for working in this field began with her own postpartum experience. Additionally, Heidi has had extensive training in dialectical behavioral therapy with a training through a twelve month DBT intensive program through Psychwire (lead by DBT creator Marsha Linehan). DBT became a passion for Heidi after the Lakes DBT Center opened and continues to grow.
