Jessica Muirhead, LMSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Jessica received her Master of Social Work from Michigan State University in 2016 and has experience in both residential and community mental health settings. Jessica has certifications and extensive experience in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) among other treatment modalities. She actively works with various populations including adolescents, teens, and adults.
Jessica focuses on a goal-oriented and person-centered approach to treatment and believes that healing is a collaborative endeavor between the patient and the therapist - one that requires honest caring without judgment. Rather than adopting one single methodology for all individuals and their challenges, she creates a tailored approach for each individual and situation. Jessica considers herself an active therapist and combines education, creativity and experience with a realistic approach to therapy that is sensitive to each person’s needs.
