Linda Sherman, LMSW
Clinical Social Worker
Linda is a Licensed Master Social Worker with 25+ years’ experience. She received her BSW from Michigan State (1979) and her MSW from Wayne State University (1994).
She works with a wide range of clients: female, male, as well as non-binary, from 18 years and up to seniors. Her experience has been varied, dealing with a wide range of issues.
Her therapy style is interactive and will allow significant/relevant others in sessions as indicated to reach client goals. Her treatment is tailored to the clients’ personal goals to reach optimal results, trust, and satisfaction. Her approach is cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic with a focus on mindfulness techniques.
Her hope is for the client to discover more about themselves, others, and develop their confidence to change and grow. She believes that when we change and grow things in our life change and grow as well.
This is a journey worth taking and she believes it is a privilege to be a part of this journey.
